PECS wins website contract of HPCL

PECS, a CMMi Level 3 company, has won the contract to redevelop the website of HPCL. The contract scope includes the complete re-development of HPCL website followed by maintenance for a period of 3 years. Following an exhaustive tendering process which included leading digital players competing, PECS’s technical and financial bid stood out.

HPCL is an oil and natural gas giant headquartered in Mumbai and has a 25% market share in its core area. It is a Forbes 2000 and a Platts 250 Global Energy Company with a Navratna Status.

HPCL is focused on “Delivering Happiness” through customer-centric initiatives. HPCL values the importance of digital assets and the website re-development is a significant step to energise and enhance its online presence and connect better with consumers and the public. 

The HPCL website will be bi-lingual having both English and Hindi versions available for reaching a wider section of public. The OWASP Top 10 standard Awareness Document will be used to ensure the code is highly secure and any security risk to the website is minimised. PECS’s strong experience with public sector security and other audits will allow it to develop and test the website based on the strict norms and deliver a highly secure solution to HPCL.
